According to a book titled, Unfair Advantage, we all have an unfair advantage while starting an organization or any other company. The difference lies in using what edge you have as a head-start to take your organization to the desired level.
This course begins with an introduction to help you understand how non-governmental organizations (NGOs) started in the world, and you will learn about the various classifications of NGOs. It takes you through the team development process, and you will become aware of factors you should consider when selecting your team.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR
Deraso Dokhole
Deraso Dokhole is a co-founder of Highway Education a Canadian-Kenyan organization that functions in Kenya and Somalia, founder of 'A day as a refugee' which focuses on refugee education, Legal adviser and head of women programs at WEP Kenya.
She is a certified professional mediator under the Kenyan courts, a lawyer and finally a certified young diplomat under the Young Diplomatic forum.She has been able to work with refugees around East Africa and conducted refugee research in Scotland ( Scottish Refugee Council) and Washington DC ( The George Washington university). Recently appointed to present on refugee protection at The African Union The 8th high level dialogue theme on refugees.
